Slide the metal mounting sleeve (or cage) off your new radio and push this into the radio aperture in your dash until the small outer lip on the sleeve meets with the edge of the radio aperture. To make the cage fit into the radio aperture more easily, bend the top and bottom until they meet in the middle.

Some radios’ sleeves have been assigned a top and bottom and require installing the correct way up. If you have a radio aperture that is not the standard (DIN) size rectangular shape you will need a fascia adaptor to reduce the aperture size, so your new radio will fit.

If you watch television or listen to the radio, there is no escaping the recession talk. It’s a comedy of sorts really. Think about it. Your sales day went along smoothly. You may have gotten a new client, a new prospect, a potential joint venture partner. Then, before or after dinner, the media tells you it didn’t go well!

My husband always has the TV on. He’s undoubtedly vaccinated against hearing this negative talk and is immune to having all that gloom and doom affect him. But it affects most of us.

In these days of bad economics (at least for some), it’s becoming increasingly popular to add another income source to the household. Oftentimes these extra income efforts turn into full-time, very profitable businesses. Others are just keeping busy, having fun, and enjoying life as never before. The
important thing is that they are doing something other than waiting for the government to give them a handout; they are improving their lot in life, and you can do it, too!

Some begin the extra income proeject by exploring the world of mail order selling (especially Ebay items), multi-level marketing, and in-home party sales. But these aren’t the only fields of endeavor you can start and operate from home, with little or no investment, and learn as you go. For instance, if you can type, you can start a home-based typing service; if you have a truck or have access to a trailer, you can start a clean-up/hauling service. Simply collecting old newspapers from your neighbors can get you started in the paper recycling business.

There has been a battle brewing for years now. Skirmishes have been being fought off and on, but now both sides are consolidating for a full out war. The battle is for the ears and minds of listeners and the fight is between traditional radio and satellite radio. XM and Sirius are preparing to take on many of the radio stations on earth as these traditional radio stations begin to stream more and more music online.

Traditional radio stations streaming content online is nothing new; it’s been happening for some years now. The new thing is the fact that these radio stations are stepping up their efforts; and listeners seem to be, well, listening.

Americans are nothing if not selectively fickle. It took almost no persuasion for them to abandon their analog landline technology-based telephones, camera, and record players in favor of digitally based alternatives.

But when it comes to their listening pleasure, Americans have been fighting the digital revolution with as much gusto as they fought the American one. They are however, beginning to come around. Having spotty reception, or none, on long commutes or when in the back country on a recreational outing, or simply because they live in a particularly reception-unfriendly area has finally made many Americans start to take notice of their digital radio options.

Everybody is talking about the latest trend on the net net video but what about the latest trend for people like me who don’t care about video on the web? I would rather tune into a talk radio show so I do not have to use up 100% of my attention and still be able to do other things. I have always preferred talk radio over to listening to just the latest music. I have always thought that someday I would like to have my own radio show. I have heard about people who have rented out AM radio time for their own show and I thought I would have to wait until I had some extra money for this.

Introducing internet talk radio where anyone can have their own show at no cost. If you want your own Internet radio show you have three options and each of them is free. There may be other choices that I am not aware of but here are the three that I have checked out myself. The only thing you will need to do with each besides providing your voice is to get listeners for your show. One of the easiest ways is to add a link to your email signature.
